DishTV subscriber for last 2 years...currently SD picture clarity is good on my 32" (HD-Ready) LCD and Looks OK on my 42" (Full-HD) LCD. This video clarity is nothing near to great HD video quality when I play 720p or 1080p MKV files from my laptop on my LCD's.Whatever Sharukh says for advertisement I cannot comment but SACH-KA-SAMNA is that local cablewala still has much better video clarity (no pixalations) compared to DishTV. BTW no difference in picture when selecting option of widescreen (16:9) and normal (4:3) on DishTV STB (never found any change in format).Looking to subscribe to another DTH service which has best video clarity at present. Original users of DTH service please advice (comments from non-users on what they think or heard is of little use as they are not actual facts). Thanks to all.

Using Tata Sky DTH service for the past couple of months. Was actually fed p with the cable channels. The picture quality in Tata Sky is much better, but cannot compare as did not watch other DTH except Dish. TS is better
