Few years ago, the decision was simple. Get the Nintendo Wii. Today I am not so sure. The idea is to get a console that a six year old can play. Gesture based gaming. Something that requires movement. I am not sure which console is better for such a requirement... PS4 or Xbox One. Of course the pricing of the games does not help the cause. Recommendations and feedback is much appreciated!

PS: The console is not exactly for the kid. The idea is to have a console that even the kid can enjoy with dad and mom.

Yup. The console came with Dance Central Spotlight which I see is a Rs. 760 worth game. And disc is not included. Requires a 1.5GB download. 10 songs are included. Additional songs are paid. Kinect Rivals costs Rs. 3600 I believe on Amazon.

A game worth 760 Rs has only 10 songs and in game purchases? I thought EA was the worst.

Fingers crossed for Jio. With 100Gb FUP which ACT provides, I can download 2~3 games easily ..each game ~40GB. 1.5gb update is nothing :P

btw install SSD in xbox one to make it 100000000x times faster than out of the box.

Niece appears to like Dance Central Spotlight. Kinect makes you act like a fool. At least with Wii you have something to hold in your hands. lol.

Thinking of gifting the charging kit as recommended earlier in the thread.
