I agree completely with AbhishekS about Airtel. Tata Sky is also good, except it has less channels compared to others.
Airtel has good number of channels, covers almost all genre and regional channels.
Not sure about Videocon.

Only, thing is Tata Sky has less HD channels, which will get fixed in few months time.

Videocon is pretty good!
I am using Tata Sky though. Its pretty good, nice picture clarity. Only problem is they love sending their crappy yellow boxes on the top of screen plus spam your mob. number for 10 days straight before your payment is due, which is dam annoying!

Yeah man, they screw by sending g reminders as if we will run away with their money and their company will become bankrupt if we do not recharge before due date.

Using TS for 6 years just yersterday got my STB replaced free of cost due to mpeg4 upgrade but the old remote seems compatible, was hoping for a new one. Still would recommend them as i have had a very good experience.
