Which is the better ONT? Pings in South India?

I am planning to get a new connection. Airtel has installed fiber lines a couple of days ago. The salesman has confirmed that it is FTTH only.

I have the option to choose the ONT I want. Which ONT should I ask for? Nokia or Huawei? Which one of these has better range?

Also, how are the pings in Chennai. Some users in the north have been complaining of high pings. Is it any better in the south? Can someone in the south post some ping results if possible.

Both are garbage for wifi. Get your own router and put Airtel ONT in bridge mode (I'm not on Airtel but I think Nokia might not support bridge mode so go with Huawei)

Get a budget router likre Archer C6 and use that as wifi
