that's what I am saying. get that lenovo one for 829$. use the rest of the money for games/upgrades whatever else you want. Also, HDD prices are shooting up, so if you wait till 2012, laptop prices will also increase.

But I was in a impression that HDD prices will decrease in 2012 once Thailand recovers from flood.

it can take as long as 6 months to a year. could be even more. these companies just got an excuse to sell their products at a premium. so even if things are fine, they would continue to sell them at a premium for as long as they can!

Don't we have alternate solution for Thailand ?? I am sure some alternate will sure come up in few months.
