I came across the following article which claims that Airtel is providing a Wi-Fi router which is capable of delivering gigabit speeds over Wi-Fi along with their gigabit extreme fibre plan. However, there is no mention of the model of the router provided. Any clues?

I am facing a strange issue My router (Nokia G-2425) login page suddenly stops responding and the internet stops working. All devices including the router becomes non pingable . The only solution is to reboot the router and it starts working fine again. I have am using all the gigabit ethernet ports which are running to the different rooms and some devices are connected to the wifi directly as well. Any suggestions. I am guessing it is freezing due to a high cpu/memory load but have no way of validating this as I cant really check the system resource status.

Try and ask them to replace the H/W? Strange is not usual. They probably understand "Does not work", better.

My guess would be hardware failure or overheating components. Tell them to replace it. Make sure you can replicate the issue in front of the technician.

Hi ,

I got the 6 Antenna router on 1 Gbps plan , I had 2 Antenna router before .

Speeds have reduced from 1.1 Gbps to 800-900 Mbps .

Is anyone else facing issue , Will buying different router fix this issue ?

I guess it should. But how can 1 Gbps port give 1.1Gbps unless its 2.5/10Gig which is very rare in India for residential connection:unsure:

Also the device also need to have 2.5Gbps port to test. Hope it was not a fast.com test?

Fast.com is reliable but a little generous when showing the speed 😁
