Web gui doesn't have full capabilities, very rudimentary. You need to use the Deco app, yes.

Oh and I should mention this set uses the 6ghz band for shared backhaul and you can configure to disable the wifi 6e so it becomes dedicated, but I am using wired mode when getting these speeds.

I hate app based administration and how did it get clearance for sale with 6Ghz band? Isn’t this device illegal? LMAO
 
You would think TP-Link and Amazon wouldn't be silly enough to sell this model without some due diligence, but you never know lol.

@Baby Clasher I don't have any 6e devices but considering that 6e is just the same v6 but using 6ghz instead of 5ghz I guess the performance would be the same with added benefit of less interference? I get 1 to 2ms latency on speedtest.net local Pune servers but let me know if you want me to post any specific pings from my laptop.
 
BTW @tatyasky I too dislike app based administration but TP-Link doesn't provide very sophisticated configuration options like others such as Netgear orbi so it's actually a breeze to use. It does have options like fast roaming, beam forming, QoS, port forwarding, DHCP etc.
 
I've got 2 connections... One 500 mbps plan from Microscan and the other is 1 gbps plan (just last night upgrade from 500 mbps) from PDPL aka Pune Digitalization Pvt Ltd.

I have been using the 2 connections with a TP-Link load balancer model er605 to get overall 1 gbps but now that one connection has reached 1 gbps I'm thinking of downgrade the other to use as a backup.

I know such speeds are mostly wasteful and yes right now it's just a novelty factor for me so maybe after a few months I'll just downsize to a single 300 mbps plan to keep things simple.
 
Can I also get the load balancing VPN router to load balance 2 excitel 300 Mbps connections to get 600 Mbps? Or maybe 3 for 900 Megs? 😁 How many connections we can add?
 
Yes... If you see the er605 specs it has 5 ethernet 1 gbps ports, the first is WAN the last is LAN and the middle 3 can be configured to be either LAN or wan mode... Meaning you can have up to 4 connections of say 300 mbps each to achieve a dream like I had to enjoy 1 gbps internet, even if it's just for coolness factor and bragging rights haha.

This er605 can also configure the wan ports to be just load balanced or you can set some as failover backup if one or more main connection goes down. I have 2 main ftth links and a 4g router as backup if both links go down.
