FAIR USAGE POLICY
Zylog Systems (India) Limited. invites all subscribers to follow the fair usage policy given below.
Background: The Internet is the largest shared network in the world enabling people to communicate with each other and access information. In such a diverse environment it is critical that users follow a shared code of conduct which is specified by the various sites. The shared code of conduct is also applicable not only to content but also to subscribers access through access providers.
The Fair Usage Policy seeks to ensure that Wi-Fi access is affordable to the largest number of people and provides a satisfactory value based service level.
The code seeks to ensure that users who have extremely heavy usage do not reduce the quality of service to other subscribers by choking the bandwidth pipes. (This is equivalent, to a resident in an apartment block using excessive water thereby denying others their fair share while paying exactly what others pay). For heavy users therefore we recommend moving on to a data transfer range of service plans which provide dedicated speeds and enable them to meet their download requirements.
Policy : For those heavy users who however continue to remain on unlimited products and higher rates shall apply :
Customer’s who want to opt for alternate packs can contact CustomerCare. In the unlikely event of any subscriber not willing to opt for alternate packs, Zylog shall refund the unutilised value of the pack on receipt of a specific letter from the subscriber requesting for the same. Such a letter may be sent by email to [email protected] or by hard copy addressed to Head, Customer Care at the following address :

hi,I saw an AD in the newspaper on 14th june, that T-nagar, Chennai is covered getting new Wi-fi broadband through Zylog systems. In the AD its specified that the Broadband is already available in Adyar, Besant Nagar, Ashok nagar and OMR and will be available soon through out the city. The company plans to cover Chennai by mid-2010.

Only the above lines are available in the terms and conditions page. No such 6 hours is stated there. Did you get the info from the people working there or thro some other source. Please do post a proof for the same if any. Unlimited means "UNLIMITED" with respect to TIME AND DATA TRANSFER.
Commercial is different. Commercialization is when you receive the 1MBps connection from Zylog and with the help of your local equipments provide broadband connection to inmates in your premises [for your self profit], which is against the zylog systems terms and conditions and is also unlawful.
One kind request, please do not post contents like this without proof. It'll have adverse effect on the business and a false impression on the company.

i dont think so... another gimmick to attract the users...but surely its time they reduce the price...
