hi everyone i'm d new wi5 user from india tamilnadu, urban side..wi5 was launched in my first town in our india this is my speed test.. still in testing condition.. :hysterical:

JVM Networks, Singapore based company products was used in Wi5 networks and wireless support was given by Netcom India Pvt. ltd., Coimbatore a coimbatore based company already done this project in tamil nadu and loose many places, since their technical problems. And now they are supporting with zylog. And Wi5 was successful in chennai with their expectations

hi! i dont know how wi5 plan can be succed,bcaz his is getting bandwitdh from other gaints like BSNL, AIRTEL etc..then how can they given less than them?so we need to wait for atleast 6months to get clear serivce level

Iam wondering how Wi5 going to give so cheaper bcaz Airtel ,VSNL & Reliance are having own gateways for internet but still there offered price in market will 750 for 256k,1000 for 512k & 1600 for 1mbps all this bandwidth in telephone line only,still they not cover many places and still they facing slow browsing compliant,So is it possible for wi5 to offer those services in wireless?Then why Bsnl, or Airtel or Reliance dont follow the technology that WI5 followed?anymoney Problem for them?no they already tried with wimax results are not good so think..and decide.but iam also dreaming with wi5 Plans ,plans are great

hayai broadband rep mgcarley has given enough hints on this forum that most service providers are charging way too much money for higher speed plans in the indian market. they have access to cheap bandwidth but they are pretty much minting money from indian customers. airtel charge around 3300 rupees for 2 mbps UL. hayai aims to provide a 5mbps UL connection for 3500 rupees.

Their bandwidth is from Tata. They didn't pay for it and now they have stopped giving them the bandwidth. They have to give 2-3 cr. to them to get their service back from Tata. It is down every where. I am from Panchkula. Here too it is the same. But the guy from the company told me that this company is almost shut down. The employees here have not been payed for 5 months. I recently got a call from an engineer here. He knows me well and he told they they were not getting responses from their heads (not even reply to phone calls) . He said if the issue of their salary is not solved they are going to court against them.

I had discussion with Tikona technician.
As he was telling, Zylog is using Multi P2P on 5Ghz channel which is being operated in several areas in Ahmedabad. As we all know, there is less interference on 5Ghz, best performance is observed at end user unlike Tikona. Single AP is installed to which clients are connected from any direction if LOS is cleared.

Zylog Wifi is being operated in limited areas but gained popularity in short span in that particular areas.

Hey am Ashwin from Chennai... A friend told me bout this ISP... Just want to let you all know a personal experience of mine...I am a user of Airtel... have been for 3 years now... I use a lot and am on 2222unlimited now... So the thought of paying 1750 for 4mbps unlimited excites me but before Airtel I was with Hathway for a couple of months...I signed up for their night unlimited 512Kbps plans and the sales person was assuring me of download speeds over 100kBs I know the max available shd be 64 ;-)...When I started using I found I got 300Kbps in the day and 20Kbps in the nights... U believe it FRICKKIN 20Kbps... NO I KNOW MY LANGUAGE AM NOT MIXIN UP Kbps and KBps... I got 20Kbps and a download rate of 2-3KBs...I had to call them 100 times(...literally) go to their office 10 times and then get a refund(that was Rs.1000 short of what I originally paid) after 3 months!So sometimes promising the world isn't everything... I see I have gone on quite a rant here, sorry guys but my bp still shoots up everytime I think of Hathway and the way they responded...I signed up just so I could let everyone know of what happened and ask you guys to wait for a while before signin up!Cheers!Ashwin

I wonder all the time that why ISP doesn't spend money on better load balance to avoid speed fluctuation.?? OR it may be possible that they don't any.
Whichever ISP is, speed fluctuates a lot when any user is downloading contents and that finishes and starts. Torrent misuses ISP network a lot especially gadget what ISPs use.
