sure they can make money everybody comes in this industry to make money only but wat i need is an good service and mainly affordable plans equivalent or atleast to that extent,i dont expect any extraordinary service and plans

They just cheat us. There are talks now that they are going to remove Podhigai. What if the user had bought only for Podhigai? Is it not cheating on the part of Tata Sky?

I also don't understand it. May be they get carriage fees from other new channel so removing it and instead adding it.

ur right they will remove it now and will add those channels after the launch of BIGTV & AIRTEL IPTV and say they had added these channels if it happens then its a clear professional ethics

I dont know how Tata Sky doing this (not only for Podhigai, also for rest of the regionla channels), because now Big TV is going to launch with more channels. If Tata Sky remove the existing channel, then the exsiting customer will move on to Big Tv or Sun DTH. (Now only and only DTH service fullfill the requrement of south india is SUN Dth).

I think its time for Falling of Tata Sky.

once this channel will launch Tata Sky add this channel immediately and Trans. shotages comes, then tata Sky will remove Jaya TV, ASIANET etc etc

FYI ETV group belong to South (Telgu) and has 2 Telgu channels.

man ur right they only consider north channels as an important one thinking like this means they should'nt have launched their service here
No yar, they launch the service in south. That is, south customers only for money and all the benefits goes to north customers.
Look at the rough number of channel distribution on TATASKY (Source: Lyngsat)
Tamil - 9
Telgu - 9
Malaylam - 8
Kannada - 7
And other languages
Hindi - 13 (Official language for 10 states and spoken throughout India)
Bangla - 5
Marathi - 5
Punjabi - 4
Gujarati - 3
Oriya - 2
North-East (Assamese) - 2
Urdu - 1
Kashmiri - 1

So which language channels are more and who are more benefited.
Agreed that 4 Southern languages has more channels, but does that mean 'every' DTH provider should carry all channels on the limited TP space available.
It is good for regional DTH provider like SUN DTH who has targeted specific market, but for a National level service provider like TATASKY (or DISHTV) it may not be possible.
BIGTV may be carrying more channels, but reason is that they have lot of TP space, but is it assured that BIG TV will carry 'ALL' channels of all languages?

lol :hysterical:. @amish, just guess where that wife disappeared, it went to the stadium to dance as cheer leaders :hysterical: you can find them and that is why one of the tatasky user here was supporting the cheer leaders.now we got it.
