Hard to say... Not used one before.
But there should definitely be some reduction than using a non inv window AC.
If you are running it at 18C, then it definitely goes out of the window for a Window AC, inv or non-inv
One major drawback of LG window ACs is that the air vents are at the top. If you mount it above the door, it’s gonna be cooling the ceiling. I read this review somewhere
So I’m considering getting an LG Window or Split AC. I’ll be checking tomorrow if the existing window (the top frame is only 40 cm in heights) can accommodate this model:
Limited-time deal: LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star DUAL Inverter Window AC (Copper, Convertible 4-in-1 cooling, RW-Q18WUZA, 2023 Model, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, White) Amazon.in
Or else will get a split AC. This model:
Limited-time deal: LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star AI DUAL Inverter Split AC (Copper, Super Convertible 6-in-1 Cooling, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, 2023 Model, RS-Q19YNZE, White) Amazon.in
My question is: does LG offer additional warranty just like Voltas did?
LG 5 star dual inverter 1.5T window AC which is monstrous 17x26 inches or LG 3 star dual inverter 1.5T window AC which seems to be of standard size 15x26.
This AC will be running 8-9 hours a day. Which one will you guys recommend? I mean, will there be a significant difference in terms of energy savings?
After initial cool if you ll put it at lowest mode then difference would be negligible. Inverterac at lower mode become a lot more efficient. Like at 50% cooling capacity it consumes 33% energy approx. So that consumption difference also becomes 1/3rd.
