This is for a bedroom and will be used primarily during nights.

I was wondering if spending more on a dual inverter AC would be worth it if the AC was running for about 8 hours in a day.

Any recommendations?

There was going to be (maybe still will) a big mess up. I’ve ordered the 2022 model of the same AC from Vijay Sales which is smaller while the 2023 model has WiFi and ThinQ feature but is larger. The product dimensions are all different at different places. 🫠

Very weird situation where I’d actually be glad getting an older model of an appliance.

It is actually happening that many brands are offering cosmetic changes in the name of upgrades rather than providing anything new. I mean if they actually giving anything new to justify the larger dimensions, it would make sense, else if I was(have been once) in your shoes, I would have gone with the older model.
Practicality matters more rather than those bells and whistles in this era.

So I saw the 2022 model on the display which is 38 cm while the model delivered is 2023 (non WiFi and ThinQ). It’s 45 cm in height, defeated the entire purpose of this frustrating exercise. Thinking what to do now as the technician informed me that he’ll require at least 18 inches (45.72 cm) in terms of height to work with.

I can exchange the AC with some other model or make major alterations to the existing windows.

Why not have a look with Ogeneral or Diakin, Hitachi? I mean these are the only brands to come to my mind in windows AC.
Are they not having 2022 models anywhere in New Delhi? There's got to be one, atleast along the outskirts, if not in the city.

So I’ve exchanged it for the 5 star model that has ThinQ paying the differential amount. I mean, if I’ve no option but to todo the khidki, may as well get an AC of my choice.
