Yes, close to features and functionality wrt Android. But surely some UI options are also copied. I saw screenshot of notification area having brightness slider, like Android. In fact whole notification area (Action center) in W10M is copied/inspired from Android/iOS as it was missing in WP7/WP8, got added in WP8.1.
Yeah, they also started copying this "hamburger menu" concept which I hate because it's at top of screen. Earlier most stuff was on bottom and very slick.
I downloaded the Win10 US english x64 ISO (which has both Pro and Home in it) off links mentioned on official MS windows blog, where you go to "Get Windows 10" link then download the media creation tool to get the ISO.
My question is: what's the checksum (SHA-1 and/or SHA-256) of the ISO created/downloaded by the tool? It does not match the SHA-1 checksum mentioned on MSDN website so I'm guessing (hoping) the ISO may be updated since then.
The values I'm getting are as follows - can anyone else confirm?
I downloaded the ISO instead of running the direct update tool (which turned out to be original slightly older build 14393.0) to save bandwidth of updating multiple machines and also for any fresh installs if needed later on
