Windows 7 Ultimate and Physical Memory

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. Once i started the system, my Physical momory occupies 1.1 GB. Why it occupies huge after boot up. I have 2 GB RAM. Is Windows 7 ultimate is a heavy OS when compare to Windows 7 Professional.

It always says opera, even if i end process opera. It shows 1.1 GB. Along with opera 1.26 GB. Newly installed OS, so no change of virus. I an using AVG antivirus.

Mine also 2GB. If its normal then no prob, if not i need to check my system. After seeing ur Task Memory, its normal for windows 7, i think, u may be correct.

Where is the thread, previously if while created new thread, that IBF itself told that similar thread is available, but for now that facility was pulled out from IBF. So its difficult to search for similar thread.
