Wrong package activated

WRONG PACKAGE ACTIVATED I had purchased Big Tv on Aug-25 for 2190 south popular pack which includes all popular channels as well as espn,starsports and star cricket for one year.But after 2 weeks iam not getting this sports channels.Till date i had called up to cc for 50 times.they had accepted that they had wrongly activated 1990 south pack which doesnt have this 3 sport channels.


They had said that instead of Smart South 2190 @ Rs. 2190/- Code: 40100018
they wrongly activated Smart South 1990 @ Rs. 1990/- Code: 40100017

They had said that they are going to chage the code and then i will be able to see the channels.But till date nothing had been done.its been nearly 25 days iam suffering from this problem.

The cc of bigtv is worst no body had niether communication nor technical skills.They didnt even know the complete info about of bigtv also.

Please can anybody help me in this regrd to resolve the issue.It would be great help for me.

The form that you fill in during the registration matters. Had you clearly specified your preference, you can get it rectified. I had the same issue where wrong regional pack was activated. Fortunately I had the contact of the installation person to get it rectified. Ofcourse I had to struggle with the Cc to take a complaint.
 
Same problem im also facing.
I have activated south max pack. But after few days neo sports and neo cricket channels are not coming.I called cc about this they are saying that u have activated south premium pack.And in reverse they are saying that u only chosen this pack! what we can do???:o
After that i asked take complaint. But they refused to take because once it activated it will not revert back.After long argument they have taken complaint and till same problem continuing...........
They even don't know what is Big TV and their services:cry:

Hearing all this it is better to stay away from Big tv for now, airtel is launching tomorrow will check out the same, earlier there were very few packages so no confusion, u select one and you get it, now with so many packages, add on packs, and various charges, it is adding up to more confusion and harakiri by the DTH operators :(

I know it is a pain to get things done thru the CC. One easy way out to get hold of the CC is to call late in the night say after 2100hrs or early in the morning. I have paid for the package and after horrifying experience with the CC, I am innovating ways to get thru the CC and get my work done. However I will not change the service provider, since the other side will always look greener.
