I have seen most of them. But I watch them as individual action movies for fun. I do not follow the storyline

Well... I also see young Professor Charles "walking". Old one still alive.
I mean they better come up with some connections, otherwise this would be like the spiderman reboot. In which case why bother assembling the same cast. I mean, sure a lot of them are quite popular...but then...

Time travel man. The future professor sends Wolverine to his younger self to get him to change the future or something. That is the plot of the story.
