The guy whose review I posted seems to have got hold of the Indian stock of Mi3. He mentioned the following:

1) No GG3 - not mentioned anywhere on documentation. This, coupled with Xiaomi's silence on this query probably means that GG3 was only available for select Chinese stock. Hence we don't see it mentioned on any English documentation.

2) Charger will be provided. As expected, no earphones.

3) Grey/Black and Silver will be the two variants on sale. Now this is the part I am confused about. Flipkart only lists the metallic grey variant (which looks like what the reviewer calls 'silver').

Also, it appears that Xiaomi has a fetish for metallic grey. They recently launched in another market with the same colour. You check online and most third party resellers also stock the same.
