Looks good to be except for the heating/battery concern seen with early MTK6592 devices.

I hate MTK devices...These are rip offs..you might as well go for a simple Qualcomm S4 !!

^ well,my aunt uses a micromax canvas 2+ since a year(mtk6589 @1.2ghz),
Feels pretty fluid and handles most tasks thrown at it with ease.
So this Asus one,with 2gig ram,mali 450,mtk6592,a decent 1280*720 screen with gorilla glass(video on crazy screen test on their site),nfc,plus removable 3200mah battery n SDcard support, and other addons lioe fingerprint scanner etc,uhm definitely looks to be a mi3 rival,except for the vast community base mi3 has and reputation it has gained.

It will not give you the performance on a long term..but a qualcomm will!!
Qualcomm..are more superior when it comes to stability
