After using Letv 1s for a week, I am fed up with huge battery drain, and toaster in pants like feeling with heat.

I am either returning this Le 1s (if flipkart approves) or I am selling it to a friend for 10K tomorrow.

Will be going for Redmi Note3, as I like the device and as its SD processor Other roms like cyanogenmod should be
available pretty soon.

Yup. friend was upset I recommended K4 note instead of letv 1s when it completed its second flash sale. I opened letv forums and showed him the complaints of battery drain + camera issues and advised him to either wait for initial batches to sell or buy k4 note. Its not perfect but he's happy with battery and camera

on the bright side, battery is stable at 40C. so theres little chance the battery will explode due to overheating

Wife's pretty happy with Le 1S. She has never complained about abnormal heating or battery drain. Strange. I should ask her again.

Just found out that both Redmi Note 3 and Le 1S uses the same camera sensor (Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL)
