and boy this phone takes a looooong time to recharge. even with my anker's poweriq charger. i guess life is awful with a large battery and no quickcharge support lol.

Yep. Data pack isn't needed. You might as well keep data off to avoid per kb charges.

and right. does not seem to be connecting to 3g and 4g. similar behavior to the sim i was provided. would visit airtel store on monday morning to get it replaced. have no plans to turn on data on the device but it's good to have the option.

cellular data is disabled right now. i only turned it on while checking for lte/3g connectivity.

also just realized that i also have a backup idea number so basically two numbers that i can port to airtel. would check if they can offer me something better than myplan for four connections associated with a single postpaid account!

There's a good possibility that Airtel and Idea LTE won't work on these phones..

There are many users reporting seeing 4G Network ,when actually they are on HSPA for some reason..
