in this or some other thread... we were discussing how gmail does not allow for any sorting. hotmail fails at sorting if you have too many mails. yahoo does it all well.

That Microsoft sucking @#$*, never liked it, "yahoo does not support your system..upgrade to IE whatever...", muddhers, even though i do have a yahoo account to be honest, use it it only for twitter, couldn't give a flying rat's @$* about it's development. Gmail rocks.

Yea, I think it was the GMail thread. Sorting still remains a big miss on GMail for me. I try to manage with the search option, since I don't keep a copy of my mail on Outlook (due to privacy reasons ).

gmail's biggest saving grace is the search functionality.

hmm.... Yahoo has had this sorting option for like ages... wonder why the others are not able to emulate it..

I like this new yahoo .. its fast. Opens emails faster than gmail.(atleast for me!)But I still miss a thing. When I click on email, I dont want focus to go on opened email. I still want to stay on Inbox page.I mostly like to middle-click on all the emails that i want to read. And then read them one by one. May be they wud provide that feature in future.

Tip for those who want to revert out of this beta.Click on down arrow next to Help link and choose the option to switch to original yahoo mail.Previously this option of switching back was under "Options" menu. And I kept searching and searching. Finally I found it under Help.

AFAIK this option will soon be removed when the beta tag is removed from it...as the blog post said all the user will be migrated to this version in phased manner

Forgot to mention that I got this error, twice yesterday in Firefox, stating that script is taking long time.

I hope they fix this before forcing everyone on it.
