No. Normal free user.It depends on where ur account is hosted.. a server in India or server in USA.Earlier my account did not have POP enabled. But other yahoo.co.in account that i had, had POP enabled.Then one fine day, when I logged into Yahoo.com account it asked me if I want to shift my account to Indian server. I said yes and I got POP free as well disposable addresses free.

That's cool man! I have a Ymail account, maybe that's the reason am not getting POP access.

Go here and change ur country to India...

Then hope that one fine day, yahoo will ask u if u want to migrateaccount and mails to Indian server!

I waited 2-3 months! But paid off!

POP option is there but it doesn't get synced with windows live mail like gmail does . i don't know why its there .

OK I just verified by configuring in thunderbird.Its working.POP server: pop.mail.yahoo.comport: 995 (SSL)

why do u need outgoing port for POP?i didnt check that ..as i am not going to send mail via that.they have help documents.. please see link above. u can find POP/SMTP setting there somewhere.

It's working.Yahoo! Servers are shutting down my connection though, I was trying to sync about 21,400 mails
