Hi I am using BSNL Data one HOme 500 Plan, I am facing differnt problem. Through IE i can open any and browsing smoothly, but problem with Messengers, I had turned off windows firewall, still I am not able to use Yahoo, Msn and google talk and I am not able connect outside system using Remote desktop and VNC.. etc Phaneendra.

to use remote desktop,vnc outside network you need to open ports in your router...which router do you have? 3389 for remote desktop and 5900 if your using vnc server.. try using pidgin Home | Pidgin to connect to yahoo, gtalk and msn..

2.See the first "sticky" post in this thread. reg MTU OpenDNS etc.
3.TRY Yahoo! Messenger for the Web
4. If you know port forwarding do settings in the modem
under Advanced Options/Virtual Server/NAT/applications etc.

/members/bandiphani/Check Advanced options and confirm you have NAT/virtual servers etc. Please open a new thread. Check in Search "port forwarding "or in tags " Ut300R2U port forwarding " Can you use telnet or Hyperterminal ?
