Zee Dish TV DTH Software upgrade

today morning when I switched on my Zenega SettopBox, it said, software upgrade , please do not switch off STB. Has any body else experienced this. If yes, any new feature is introduced?-athavale.

Yes I have experienced the same.But no new feature has been added.Its the same old thing.

Nothing new in this software update. Infact 1 prob with this update. STB hangs when Vol +/- keys are pressed !

I have only silver subscription. Earlier I used to see atleast few channels under Active Sports, Active Cinema and I think after this software upgrade, I get only blank screen for these active services. Possibly they have blocked Active services for those who don't have platinum subscription (like Maxi).

^^ No you are wrong. The Active services have been removed long time back, even before the software update. Active Services are not available for any subscribers.

Hi,Even i had problem and still having problem. My remote keys are not responding. I thought battery might be weak. Anyway this seem issue started since STB upgradedThanksBala

I Have Seen One Change... First When Your Subscription Was Over It The Common Dialog Would Say Contact Customer Care.. Now It Says Please Recharge... Might Be More Changes Also

Absolutely true.the volume keys are hanging in my stb as well. I have zenega 1004s stb. I thought my remote batteries are weak.but now since it is happening 2 u also that means this stb update is nothing but a pain for dishtv users.

No, You are absolutely wrong as some of the active services were removed from Dishtv Platform some 3-4 months back and that's the reason you were not able to get those active services. As also all the active services are free on Dishtv and available on all the packs, so whatever pack you have you will definitelty have access to all active services.
