How to get 4mbps upto 50 gb in 1399 Delhi

one of my friend is currently on airtel broadband and his plan was 4 mbps till 25 GB for 1399 so he called airtel and told them that he wants to leave their network and join some xyz network , so they offered him this plan and now he is enjoying 4 mbps upto 50 gb .
it might work so anyone can try!

I guess it is a retention plan which Airtel uses for its subscribers who chose to terminate its service.......Airtel's method of retaining its existing customers

Well they have made this plan permanent for him and also he gets 200 or 500 calls free

I am sure its not NCR cause I get 20GB @ 16mbps then 512kbps @Rs.1299/month+Taxes, & Last week of every month I am on snail speed......

Damn, that plan is absurd. I'm from Chennai, my monthly rental is 1199+ taxes. I'm on 16Mbps with 120GB FUP and also unlimited free local/std landline calls added to it. Before that I was on a 8Mbps 80GB plan which costed me around 2650 bucks a month, got fed up with bs, ranted out to 121 executives threatening to cancel my broadband and digital tv connection. The next day I got the call and they were willing to offer me 120GB plan. Start emailing them brother.

Even I'm on an Airtel retention plan which I use as a backup to ACT. Unlimited local calls. 2 Mbps. 20 GB FUP. Rs. 350 a month. I was paying them close to 3000 earlier.

That's a great deal you got there. Airtel is not giving me more than 120GB in my place, claiming higher FUP plans are not feasible. ACT has pathetic service which even got worse after the floods. My cable guys are in talks with Railwire and JIO ftth, hope everything will be sorted out soon. Can't wait for FUP free plans!

I'm at Chennai. You can bargain like you're in a local market when it comes to retention plans. The rep started off with Rs. 550 for 4 Mbps, 10 GB, 200 mins free local calls. I kept repeating that I want to disconnect until I was offered the Rs. 350 plan.

A better retention policy would be to eliminate FUP at the old price points. The incremental bandwidth consumed would be a rounding error for Airtel.
