Reliance Jio JioLink Indoor WiFi Plans and Preview Offer

What's the difference between Jio Link and JioFi ? Is it the same as the Mi-Fi device they sell ?

@meetdilip you can make calls on jio fi but you cant make calls on jio link, so jio fi is more like a mobile sharing device. people who dont have 4g mobile they can buy jio fi and use 4g services on their 3g mobile

@Abhishek Pradhan 10000Rs first bill why? Secondly, JIOLINK users will be clogging the same network which wireless users are using, so the idea behind fibre like plan will damage JIO more than helping them, so In rural areas the idea may work as the users per BTS are less but of the urban and semi-urban area, JIO Network is already clogged and it may further ruin the situation.
But the whole idea is that our connection is fixed and thus it must be compensated by giving us more data. Moreover very few people have taken JIOLink devices. In my town of population around 3 lakhs only 23 people have taken this connection. Also this connection is given by invite (I was not invited though) and not on demand. I am hopeful of plans equivalent to Jio FTTH as the lady in the Customer Care said but I may be too optimistic though! Bhai any one gets to know the plans then please post here. This is the only forum I could dig catering to JIO Link and I shall be checking it daily. Thank you guys!

@Robin Puri @DloadfCUkr @shivambehal Whats the current speed you guys are getting, Is it affected after the initial speed test screenshots you all shared.

Speed fluctuate between 15 to 35 mbps in day time but at night jio-link speed touches 60mbps+.
Actually speed depends on RSRP and SINR.
RSRP lower and
SINR higher value for better speed.

I talked to Customer Support again today regarding the JIO Link plans and she said it will be equal to 303 or 499 plans which are for mobile SIM. When I asked how can they make a fixed connection rate same as a mobile connection, then she said the plans will be changed for Jio Link after March 31st and she also advised me to do 99/- Jio Prime recharge but when I said the system is not allowing me to do that she said, "Sir, try after 31sr March, it will surely be processed"... I started laughing at her and reminded her that at the moment 99/- recharge is valid before 31st March only...then she reverted , " Sir, for Jio Link customers it is after 31st March"! I wasted about 14 minutes to listen to nonsense. :(
