Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

Guys,

I am using airtel and most of the time my phone gets attached to 4g+ signal with band 3 and band 40 Aggregated and then speeds are pathetically low. not even able to browse the net ,forget anything other than that. Only some time when my phone gets latched to single band 3 or band 1,the speeds are very good for an indoor area, but this rarely happens as most of time I am getting 4g+ only. I don't know what to do ,I am seriously considering switching to jio due to this reason, if anyone knows anything about this please reply..

@philip It was the same for me for last 3 months. Atleast for u internet is useable in Single Band but for me all the bands becomes unusable. It's the problem of Airtel not the device.

And the problem is only within the indoors only within outdoors the speeds with airtel are extremely good. I only have 2 options in front of me now. Either I should lock band and I don't know if its possible with Samsung latest service mode. So the only other option is now to switch to jio. Does anyone here has good indoor experience with jio in kerala ..

Which phone do u use?

Samsung Galaxy a70. I think they should start 3ca here with band 1 3 and 40 .Problem here is that in some places 3g is still running in rural areas of kerala in band 3. Only they shutdown that 3g they can enable 3ca in kerala circle fully in all.bands

After Airtel shutdown 3G, i am getting 4G signal in rural areas along rail route. Presently going from Gwalior MP to Kanpur UP by train.

Since Galaxy a70 is a Snapdragon processor phone you can lock LTE bands by network signal guru app but you need to root your phone. If you want to use Jio first you need to check whether your area has adequate jio coverage. If coverage is their you can port straight away. Jio has pan India 3CA, 4x4 MIMO in band 3,40.
