BSNL Broadband internet outage in North India

Ohh well there was some problem in local line and I called up line man and fixed within few hours!

Totally down from 2 days
I am from Haryana Circle and 50mbps plan
Getting below 1mbps and frequent loss in connection
Will contact BSNL tomorrow!

it's due to ofc break at some places informed by lco

@Kick933 I asked LCO and he told me that it is capped like that, and I do not need to upload much so its fine for me
Is there any way I can apply for same speed as download?

@AlphaFolker BSNL claims symmetrical speed. And most users do get it unless your LCOs fucks up something

Tell to him that you will pay a lot less than as the current plan includes UL also ( He is lying on your face , BSNL advertises symmetric speeds, my LCO used the same to lure me )

Basically your LCO is situated either far away or has lots of wiring problem like fiber bends,etc which leads weakens your TX power to the extent it can't reach OLT without significant attenuation

Check your Rx/TX power and stand a firm ground that you want UL

Also how many core your cable has?

It's your right to ask... Not their wish to cut down the speed.. Or justify their stupidity.. Dont back down

Hey @Realme @Ameen

There is too much wiring problem here, almost all cables are underground and wiring gets cut due to construction work, there are too many bends also I have seen them personally
My ONT do not show RX/TX power!
I think cable is single core
And most important stuff that line man is a known family-friend kind of thing, so sometime I just dont call him to fix these small things
But yes after this corona thing, I will get this problem fixed!
