Netflix is now available post Jio STB software update. There is an article in Only tech platform. They are doing batch wise update, hence we need to wait.

@Yjg be patient, nobody has gotten it yet. Only a tech website has gotten it, as mentioned in the post above and that too must be specifically given to them for reviewing purposes. Jio rolls out things in phases, as seen in the case of the new plans.

i turned off the STB it was on standby mod red light was on.
It turned green in the middle of the night and started blinking. I turned on the tv and saw update was in process.

So jio can turn the STB on and trigger updates.
thats scary , i am getting rid of this shit

Red light is a standby mode where is it ready to be used. Just like a mobile phone when you lock the screen. During the period when you screen is locked your phone manufacturer can deploy updates for the software or let say play store deploy updates.

In the middle of the night you were watching the STB?
