how much speed should i get for 50mbps plan?? PLEASE HELP

I have BSNL fibre connection with Rs 849 plan 50mbps , but i only get 5-15mbps and upload speed of 0.5 mbps . Recently my neighbor got new connection, though we have the same plan but the neighbor is getting speed of 40 -50 mbps and 40+ mbps upload speed. I had called and submitted the complain online, but they dont respond. Also the connection is provided by a private vendor in behalf of bsnl. Is my speed capped by them or m i getting cheated by the private vendor and bsnl??? please help for solution.

Check with BSNL and keep following up, their service is shit everywhere..

i had complained to bsnl office too and in selfcare portal they just updated resolved without doing anything

Complain on PGportal. Don't bother complaining on customer care. They would do this everyday for the complaint I made. Then I stopped complaining on customer care and directly complained in PGportal.

Just Restart the router to get diffrent ip address. They have speed issues with ip address

Yes. I did not find any other way. Called the lineman. Called the exchange. No one would answer the complaint. Usually, the problem would be solved in 3-4 days after complaint on PGportal.
It seems like a lot now but then it was better than 15 days without internet.

@denzokarma can you login in your router and see stats there? Rx, Tx etc. Also check speeds with wired LAN connection. Call your private vendor about speed issue, BSNL staff is lazy af
