Here in Jaipur, even at night the router temperature goes to 50 degree celcius.
Yours might be in a cool room. mine is in the guest room where there is a lot of heat (as nobody stays there).

i keep both my onts in a room without fan/ac usually turned on. i've opened my excitel ont up and stuck a fan on it DIY: Cooling Fiber Internet ONT with a PC Fan | Guides

it is disgustingly dusty though without any kind of filter, but it does work in keeping temps very low

my airtel ont without fan reaches 50C. (not that it matters onts work fine till 75C)
