What is Installation Charge of Excitel?

Excitel LCO is asking for 4500rs to install new connection with 300Mbps 3 months. What were your installation charges?

There are no installation charges as per excitel. Better contact excitel support for installation or excitel sales people in ur area, u only need to pay plan charges [introductory plans for new users are pretty cheap]. I paid ₹500 for upgrading to fiber, although as per them u don't have to pay anything if u upgrade from ethernet. Things are different on ground and u can't do much if u don't have any other lco in ur area. Make sure u pay thru excitel online link, not by cash, this way no one can overcharge.

He is saying they will use my money to bring cable from road to my house. Which is 100-150 meters. I have Airtel connection running yet excitel guy is not ready for anything less than 4500.

@nishantt6969 they will come to you sooner or later don't worry. Contact excitel directly instead of lco. Just wait and watch for Excitel, don't rush. It may not be worth as services are highly dependent on LCO.

i would advise highly against it , these "customer service you will love " keep you on hold for 1 hr and won't give you refund amount .

Traceroute is not really a good measure of packet loss. If you do not have any loss at the destination, then it's likely a Firewall or PAT configured somewhere in the middle.
Excitel is also well known for its avg 2-10% packet loss at all times.
If you are windows, test using pathping. Btw, didn't you have JioFiber? Does it go down intermittently?

I changed my flat 2 months back, here jio fiber is not available, only airtel and excitel to some extent.
