32/42 Inch TV

I'm looking for two televisions: A 32 inch one, and a 40/42 Inch one. Needs options in both categories. Connectivity will be a Tata Sky HD box, and a PS3. Also USBs from time to time. The TV should also have an option for being able to attach either a sound bar or HTS later next year. I don't know whether a LED will be better or a LCD or Plasma. Please advise. I'm only looking for a Samsung, Sony or LG TV. No other brand. Also I want this TV to run at least 5 years. Budget isn't decided yet, but I doubt it'll cross 40K. Take 30-42K as a range. Any suggestions?

50K is too much to spend online for me. Will buy from a shop in a few days. The model might be a non smart one as they itself are around 56K...

Do consider buying a non-Smart TV and compliment it with a WD TV type set top box.

Your Smart TV is probably not upgradeable. You can replace your WDTV box every year/second year and get a much powerful processing engine.

You can always use the WDTV thingie with a smart TV too if you want.
I have the single core variant and it plays 1080p videos fine. that's the only thing I needed. Don't see the point of internet browsing on a TV.

Smart TVs are not just about software...they have hardware like better processor, motion plus to display higher FPS for future,etc not just Samsung smart TVs but also Sony,LG,etc

Andriod dongles sure have better processors than any inbuilt in smart tvs

It is not about the processor it is about the processor/chip of the display and the display it self which is majorly improved in smart TVs

A processor can't improve display in anyway. And FPS is a different area. Honestly smart tvs are dead on arrival
