Hi, yes but IPTV is restricted to only our direct cable tv subscribers

I have airtel IPTV connection. If you are going to provide IPTV on broadband, I will got for ACT broadband immediately.
 
As expected, no response from anyone on the status of my internet connection. This is the 4th day now and my internet is down and I haven't heard from anyone.So, I don't think so that they are going to fix my line.This is the worst experience I have ever had with the internet connection.Though airtel is costly but their service is excellent. I have used airtel for 3 years and not for a single day, I lost my internet connection.Once there was some problem with my router,I booked a complaint and within 2 hours, they came and changed the router.This is called customer service.When I compare it to your service, you stand no where. You don't have a clue what is wrong and you don't have the courtesy to inform your users about it.Your people refuse to pick calls and disconnect the calls.I think I made a mistake going for your connection.
 
Act Broadband has worst Customer Care service. Hardly anyone will pick up your call for 10 15 min. I dont know where there executives are busy.. either they have only 10 12 executive for whole customer base or they are not interested in picking up the call. Moreover , the call is chargeable .. so u have to wait for 20 min but dont think even your call will get answered . So your futile effort will cost you 8 10 rs everytime. Till now I have spend 90 to 100 rs in just one month only to talk with there esteemed Customer care.
 
hello all, I recently got Act broadband. Applied for the connection on the 25th of April and got the connection on the 27th evening. 2 days only. I am on a 10 mbps plan 50gb download limit and my download rate is anywhere between 900 kbps to 1.2 mbps. :-) At present am very happy with the connection and I highly recommend act broadband to anyone who is looking for high speed internet with good fup. I also use bsnl and airtel in chennai. Both are OK with speeds when compared to ACT broadband. Hope this info helps. Will post some screenshots soon. Good luck, Sahas
 
Latest Update :Another day has passed and the situation is still the same.I called the CC in the morning. Rashmi picked up the phone and told me that Mr. Harish will be coming to my place at 12 pm.I cancelled all my plans and was at home but no sign of Mr. Harish.I called CC again at 3 pm and I was informed that Mr. Harish will come in 10 min.Finally Mr. Harish came at 5 pm. I knew nothing gonna happen now.But Mr. Harish told that everything will be done in 30 mins.He went somewhere and came back in 30 mins. and said "Sorry sir, there is a fibre cut and you have to wait for 1-2 days"So the story continues...I have given up all my hopes.I am sure nothing is gonna happen tomorrow also.Another update :Mr. Actian has stopped replying to his mails. Hi Nishant, am very well here and have forwarded your complaint to the field team. I understand the field team has updated you in person that the local cable operator has removed the fiber. we are relaying the entire stretch hence the delay.

Dear ACTian,If your field team would have come at the time they promised i.e. 12pm, they could have done the work today only.This is what I am talking about, negligence on the part of you and your team.I am calling the CC from Tuesday and your field engineer showed up today and that too at a time when I knew nothing will be done.I have stopped calling the CC as I know it is hopeless and they are also helpless because they don't know anything about the situation.They are just shooting in the dark and telling whatever comes in their mind at that point of time.I am 500% sure that tomorrow also nothing is going to happen as the field team does not work on sunday.They will delay it to Monday and as I won't be available at home because I am also a human being and I have to earn my living and I have to go to office.Your team will take advantage of it and will again neglect my phone calls and complaints.In the last two weeks, I know how you people work.And I am sure that I have to wait for another week till saturday to see any progress.
 
Hi ACTian, I am very much interested in taking an ACT BB. Please let me know if you have BB reach in Marathalli area? Especially in flats within Purva Fountain Square, as that is where I live?
 
Finally,After 5 days of torture and frustration, my internet connection was restored.I hope it works for some day now and not for just 1 day again.And I would just like to give 1 suggestion to ACT, if a customer is complaining about something, give proper response and visit their place the very same day...And don't give false promises and make stupid excuses.I am happy once again.Thanks ACTian and I hope, I have a good experience with ACT in future.
 
Hi ACTIan, can you please provide the update on whether the service is available in Girinagar, hanumanthnagar and surrounding areas. You had mentioned tat the service will be available around last week of April.
