how much download speed will i get in link-removed for 1Mbps plan?currently i am getting 100-110kbps. Is it fine or am i getting low download speed since for 1Mbps v must get 120-130kbps..

your speed is fine .. with 1mbps one usually gets that much ..

Hi ACTian, do u have connectivity in thyagarajanagar n hanumanthanagar. I have told few of my friends about ACT and they were interested in switching to ACT from airtel..

Hi Bharath, As mentioned earlier we are just expanding our network to Hanumanth nagar and should be available sometime end of APril.

Hahaha.. friend, beware what you wish for!! I live near Coles Park in ChandraKiran Apartments. I had asked for a connection from ACT on 24th March and mentioned that I need it URGENTLY as my wife works from home. I was given the connection in 3 days although I had been promised that it would be done in 1 day. This was just the beginning (of the end). It stopped working in about 5-6 hours after installation. It has not come up since. We complained daily for the first four days calling up atleast 10 times a day. Most of the time you will get the message that all their agents are busy. If they occassionally pick up, then the standard response is that it will be done by the end of the day. Unfortunately this problem never ends. Finally I asked for a disconnection on the 31st of March. After promising that it will be repaired again no one bothered to turn up. In the meantime, I promptly requested Airtel for a connection which was provided and is working fine.

I now want to use this forum to see just how long it takes for my money to be returned. I had taken the Quarterly subscription. Alas, they couldnt provide me the same even for a quarter of a day.

People, ACT may be cheaper, but ACT are really cheap people!!!
 
@vineetYou are absolutely right...They are very cheap people...and not able to respond to my email and I have the complaint number and full of false promises if the feasibility is not there why the hell they should collect the money first There is proper communication with Sales team with the installation team...ACT really a pathetic service provider in customer care...and BSNL is much better with this...

sorry for the inconvenience & delay (due to some local issue) and the field team has promised to complete the installation by EOD tomorrow (10.04.2012).

In the website of ACT it is mentioned that there will be 4 hrs backup even if there is no electricity.But as soon as the power goes there will be no internet.There are many power cuts nowadays and since i work from home i am not able to use the internet due to this.

Hi, we have our network in Ritchmond circle but to be specific let us know your address to revert the feasibility, and we dont serve in Koramangla 1st block.
