Syrotech ONUs are in bridge mode by default. You don't need to set it manually. You can now enter BSNL PPPoE on Archer C80. You may need to clone ONT mac though.
What advantage does cloning Mac from ONT do? Anything else to consider please specify. I have an Alphion ONT in Bridge Mode and My DIR - 615 in PPPoE. What settings Should i do in my router for a stable and good uninterrupted internet connection.

@Fyt123 mac cloning is needed if you ISP do MAC binding at PPPOE server level . in case of BSNL I never saw a MAC binding scenario.

regarding the uninterrupted connection. it's mostly depends on your LCO OLT device ,TX power and more over your ISP's hardware and bandwidth. for a HOME environment I believe a normal 3-4k router will do a decent job considering less clients.

if you want more feature from a low end router , then get a router with Openwrt support. as per my experience openwrt is the best option if you are getting a lower midrange router.

@sidhartharoul I have an Alphion ONT (1443) in Bridge mode, and my router D-Link DIR 615 X1(Single Band Router) in PPPoE mode.
Following are the difficulties/Questions I've been facing :-
1. game pings in CSGO --> earlier i used to get 45-75ms --> but since September I've been getting very inconsistent latencies, sometimes it is 75-90ms and sometimes goes upto 1500ms. any fix please do mention.
2. The setup i mentioned above Bridge--> PPPoE , is it good . Should i do any settings change, like DHCP, OpenNAT.
3. If you feel anything that my setup needs to be done please mention. I just want good gaming experience, and less downtime. (regarding my setup only).
thanks and regards in advance
Edit 1- Also my router doesn't have OpenWRT support.

How to know the trace route of my game server. I dont know which i connect to? Sorry for being noob, but i dont know much networking that's why. Do reply,
thanks
