I’ve been using Jio AirFiber as a backup WAN for almost 8 months now, and it has been near perfect. I’m currently on the 100Mbps plan (₹899/month).

This morning, I tried to enquire about upgrading to Jio AirFiber Max. The engineer mentioned that if AirFiber Max isn’t available, they can set up something called a “P2 connection”. According to him, it allows combining two separate connections into one router. However, they would need to replace the ODU, and the only catch is that I’d have two separate 100Mbps connections instead of one unified connection.

I tried researching this setup but couldn’t find anything useful or relevant.

Can anyone clarify how this “P2 connection” works? Is it true aggregation or just load balancing? Any insights would be helpful!

Also, if AirFiber Max doesn’t work out for me, I’ll go the P2 route and keep you guys updated on how it performs.

One more thing: I’d like to know how to go about getting AirFiber Max installed at an independent residence. Any guidance on the installation process would be greatly appreciated!
