ChetanRemove sim card and re insert it. You may be subscribed to free offer. I got a mail from airtel people that handset offers wil be applicable once 3g services are available. If they donot agree, we can complain.Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk

was this plan designed for Aliens

who on earth would like to go for this CRAP pricing, you hit the shield value and get pinched by 2000 more and they'll continue to give you crap speed which is even slower than normal Rs.98/- plan.
seems they designed this plan only to make +1 to available plan list for 3G

Also the plans clearly shows, they do not want higher bandwidth users, no matter they are business or corporate people.

Have they started targeting pre-school kids as their next big customer base ???
with this pricing I am sure people will not going to stick to Airtel and gives better opportunity to competitors to launch with more reasonable plans.

I am not saying in favour of unlimited, but I would not use any such plan for my day to day browser and trading use, which consumes not less than 200mb of fair use a day.

so I now thank god that Airtel didn't opted for U.P. (East) for 3G services.

Airtel presence wanna join our cursing or they ran of ! We will announce our plans here the moment they are announced Bullshit airtel .

You cannot surely expect 3g mobile data as a replacement for wired broadband connections.. it would take more time for that to mature to that level. But I would expect the rates to be equal to the Tata Photon rates atleast.

But we can atleast expect that we can move away from 2g to 3g.These prices are insane but i expected it from airtel. Getting number changed to idea or relience for sure .

675 for 1.25 GB and afterwards its like Rs. 105/GB . For a normal mobile usage, like emails and other normal stuff it should good enough.. But if you trying to use it with your computer for browsing not worth.. I am not saying 675 is a fair price, but something around Rs.300 or so with the same rates would hve been much better

@AjayJP.. I beg to differ.. Looks like that BSNL has been scrared by Airtel's launch of 3G and have removed the throttles from their 3G Data customers. Whereas i was getting 1.5mps - 2mbps using 3G sim with my internal WWAN modem, today since evening, I am getting 3-4mbps.

BSNL ROCKS - FOR NOW! Airtel better respond with decent pricing.. Off to BSNL I go.. Rs. 700 p.m. Unlimited data plan is a steal no matter what anyone says. even for 1mbps.

Screen shot of BSNL 3G from today - Unbelievable.

BYE BYE Airtel - I have been Fleeced for too long - and then given attitude by CS and Billing...

Pay less and deal with no CS

ah well. i see their plan is 1.2GB for around 700 bucks.

it is not mmm nice of course.

but a lot of people can certainly afford it.

of course, if you think of it as a replacement for your landline broadband connection... you are sadly mistaken.

Not considering it a replacement for my home broadband connection. But my mobile data usage is around 3-3.5 GB per month.
