i will any day suggest vodafone, reason for good customer support. but they are also doing huge cost cutting on network upgradation and maintainence . BSNL cannot be trusted looking at their track record. there will be many still crying on BSNL network when our friends are praising about on this forum. the opinion given by friends here is user specific and does not apply to all.

No telling the horror stories u hear from BSNL users.. All I know is that I am in a very remote area in chikmagalur, Ka for two days a week. Everybody is on BSNL and nobody is complaining..

Just like horror stories with BSNL, I have heard a few from TATA (service), Airtel (Billing), Reliance (billing) and vodafone (customer service)

All I can say is that I have used BSNL / Airtel / Idea parallelly for the last year.

For the savings in mullah, BSNL, is not that bad and there is not much to complain..

Grevience redressal in india is a joke.. At least MNP is finally here and everybody has freedom to chose..

I opt out of airtel..

And I do agree.. These are my experiences only..

After 1.25GB, VBC of 1p/100KB upto a max shield (amount) of Rs 2000. Post hitting the shield value, enjoy free unlimited browsing at 20Kbps speed, validity 30 days.

Welcome to the 1995. Thanks Airtel.

VSNL was offering better download speed on dial-up way back in 1995 and Airtel has guts to call it a 3G service. Shame on Airtel. :notallowed:

@donthave

As per vodafone customer care, vodafone has tied up with airtel and they are launching 3G in Bengalore in the second week of February...

Customer care executive was telling any day we will give better service than airtel :)

In Bangalore, if u r luking for 3G, BSNL is the best option.

Vodafone does not provide 3G for Karnataka circle

And the funny thing is I waited everyday for Airtel to launch 3G from early december!

Lesson learnt!

It was expected that the plans wont be cheap, but didnt expect that they can be this bad. So many people raised hue and cry when DoCoMo released their plans, now their plans look lot better in comparison :P

I really doubt this, but if this becomes true then everyone would be gladly surprised. Considering Vodafone's approach even in places where they have licenses and also their sheer ignorance of Bangalore/Karnataka region while purchasing 3g spectrum, where they have one of their highest user base(also with high ARPU) in India

I'm waiting for Aircel 3G Unlimited at a reasonable price....we always used to wait for things that won't turn out well...& we knew that too
