Airtel 3G Tariffs and Packages

Airtel's default rate for 3G is Rs 15000 per GB (15 paise per 30 KB) unlike other private operators which charge you Rs 10000 per GB (10 paise / 10 KB)

I had a very good service from airtel when i went to singapore it was tagged with singtel .airtel has a good relation with singtel.

Singtel owns 32.15% of Bharti Airtel, hence the good relations .

By the way, Vodafone owns 4.4% of Airtel and latches on to Singtel as well, if you visit Singapore.

is there any hope that airtel will reduce its 3G tariff and at least make them thinkable. Airtel claims to have 2 million 3gusers but i think there are only countable number of people who use the data packs.by the way how many of u or ur friends are using 3G data packs..? Anyone.

Infact airtel has increased VBC of 675 plan ( flexi shield plan).
Earlier in 675 flexi shield plan, after 1.25gb usage, VBC was @ 1 paise for 100 kb upto a max shield (amount) of Rs 2000 , so it was rs 100 for 1GB
Now in the same plan after 1.25gb, VBC @ 2 paise for 100 kb ( 200rs for 1GB)issed-off:

Anyway in AP airtel is still offering 3g speeds on 2g data packs , don’t know when they will cap. And couple of days back Vodafone has launched 3g services in AP and it is also offering 3g speeds on 2g data packs till 20th july. Idea is giving 3g signal for Vodafone. I think AP users are some what lucky.

^^So can Vodafone 3G users in AP make 3G Voice calls also? Or is it only like...data will be through idea 3G and Voice calls HAS to be on Vodafone network?

mdheeraj, its only for new customers subscribing 675 plan first time. for old users---- plan remain the same i.e 1 p/100 KB

Bit confused,
i have activated 3g on my airtel sim couple of months ago, Will i be charged @ 1 paise for 100kb? but i never subscribed 675 plan becoz 2g data plans were getting 3g speeds.
I’m thinking of 675 plan after airtel promo.
When i contacted airtel customer care they said i will be charged 2 paise for 100kb.

hey guys i use airtel sim in my iPhone 4 and whenever i send a message via the 121 to deact or act any plan on my mumbai number it replies me like'Dear customer, we already have a provisioning request under processing . Please wait while we process your request ' now what the F**K is this and i dont even get 3g speeds if and there is also no deduction from my acc i called the customer a several times for deactivation of the services but they are also unable to deactivate my 3G service what should i do now guys ??

What exactly are you trying to Activate/Deactivate?Type of connection? Postpaid/Prepaid? Tried USSD codes?

From the past 8 months, am getting 3G services on my 98 Edge pack with the same 2GB limit, Thank you Airtel Am in Bangalore BTW.
