[/COLOR]HSPA + can support not till 21mbps it can even be made to achieve till 42,84 mbps .service provider have to go for these speeds to maintain good speeds for this population.If the user is high..
will it happen??????????????? or they will jump to 4G

How long will airtel continue to give 3g service on a 2g plan:huh:. Any one have any idea about that????:huh:

Even I have the same doubt. Shud I go ahead and recharge my edge plan as am getting '3G' on my edge plan?

Its the second month and still airtel 3G is working fine. I recharged with 98 rupees for 2 GB edge plan, and I get 3G. Speed is around 3 mbps.I wanted to shift to BSNL but will stay back with airtel as long as this continues.

@donthave, Its good that you are getting good speeds. I am not getting signals in my home. Even if phone logs on to 3G n/w it will be for a short time. It keeps on switching between 3G and 2G. Because of this i am facing too many call drops

Airtel is giving 3G service on 2G plan because they are sorting out problems with their 3G n/w. I am not finding 3G signals even in open air in some of the places here in bangalore.Probably Airtel guys still cannot switch on some of their 3G base stations :grinownload as muchhhhhhh data as you can :wink:

i'm also supporting with dhanajayk..dwnld as much u can..here in coimbatore also enjoying 3g speeds in 2g gprs plans....but network or tower is switching back to 2g frequently ...i think it is because of tower problem..i am keeping silent ..bcz if i complaint them they may stop the 3g speeds in 2g plans....
