Airtel had started laying down fiber before the lockdown but then the pandemic happened and now I don't know anymore.

Laying down as in on poles or underground?

Also when you say laydown....does it mean they don't have fiber underground in your area?

Like in the case of Jio, they had it already all they did here is picking its end out and connect it to the newly laid fiber over the poles..

Gurgaon. Underground. And I don't think they did have already. They had dug out a huge area for laying down the fiber.
