BSNL_Airtel
Newbie
@ BSNL_airtel ..its a DNS problem..specify the following DNS addresses in ur ATA/ router and desktop lan card settings
prim DNS : 4.2.2.1
secondary DNS : 208.67.222.222
I changed my computer's TCIP settings to use these 2 DNS servers. I also changed the Airtel Beetel dsl modem's DNS entries by logging to 192.168.1.1/main.html and clicking on advanced and then DNS.
I rebooted the airtel router/modem first and then rebooted my voip ata and then my computer.
Now, it no longer does a loop back to 127.0.0.1. But, the problem still remains and there is no voip light. I am copying below my PING and TRACERT results after these changes (and subsequently rebooting all devices).

Does this prove anything? Maybe that airtel is blocking something. This might be the last straw and just pull the plug on airtel and go back to good ol' BSNL.
