HiIs "port triggering" page in my 220bx1 router meant for "port forwarding"? I have added port in that page, but my application still says "that port is not open". A website port tester also said that port is indeed not open. How do i forward the port then, i cant do it through Port Triggering page? And i have also added same thing in Virtual Servers page.

^^ i know how to port forward in general & have exactly the same settings shown in portforward.com but stilll its not working.By the way, "Enable UPnP" in "LAN Settings" is checked in my router settings if thats causing something. And i called an airtel guy who told me that they are launching iptv thingy and hence port forwarding has been switched off from the source itself. Can you guys confirm whether you still have port forward working?

i dont think airtel iptv has anything to do with port forwarding..atleast thats not the case with bsnl..ensure that no firewall in your pc is blocking( like windows firewall)

yeah, i did that. I found out the problem but not the solution. The problem is when i enter those settings in the router, and restart, the router changes my username to "newuser@air......." and hence the problem. I think the TR client is doing this on every modem switch on. If i do turn off the TR Client though, the internet doesnt even work. So i guess only thing i can do is degrade the firmware.BTW, i will try to use bridge instead of PPPoE. Which dialer do i have to use for that? Any specialized one?

Same problem for me .. I've tried port forwarding in the modem as well as my Netgear wireless router .. it does not works and Bitcomet says port is blocked.I have even tried the PFConfig utility available on portforward.com .. it says router updated but bitcomet/uTorrent still says ports is blockedAny suggestion guys ??

^^ yup thats correct. thats whats happenning. Interestingly, many people may not be getting affected right now, but eventually people at different places will..
