Airtel Broadband Double Speed for Rs. 100 Offer

the CC ppl told it will take 96 working hours(no not 4 days) ie 12working days im not sure will it be changed even after 12 working days!!!

i just sent the sms and got reply that it will be activated within next 7 days hope it does and i will have sweet 2mbps line as right now i am on 1mb plan for 1699 so 2000 bucks will get 2 mbps not bad for now....

It has been 9 days since i sent the message and i still haven't got the double speed. I have sent them an email, lets see how much crap i get from Airtel now.UPDATE: I got a reply saying they will fix it by Monday. Let's see if i get a reply or call saying that the offer is not longer valid or isnt valid in the first place. If they ask for a proof that i received a message from them, i have softwares on my phone which can fake a message as one sent from a number and name i specify

Hi All,i know there is already a thread on this topic but I would like to create this thread specifically for Pune users.I want to know if anyone has got their speed doubled thru SMS/Mail or calling up CC ?If yes, what plan were they previously on ?Secondly, there seems some confusion about the current Plans and their features- plans haviing same names are having different speeds and FCV, etc, even on Airtel site. So, if anyone can provide info on plans with speed between 512kbps -1 Mbps, it would be appreciated.But yes, frankly, I am more interested in doubling my speed rather than shift to any new plan. I am currently on 749 Unlimited plan.Any help/info would be much appreciated.RegardsRohit

It has been a week till i registered for this offer. Lodged a complaint thru email & received a call from CC saying that it will be activated in another week time.....awaiting

Sham from Airtel. I went through a LOT of trouble. Even mailed the Nodal officer, got no response in like 3 weeks. Called up Nodal officer multiple times, but no one picked up the phone!!!

I too sent them an email..no response..Airtel seems to be going downhill as far as customer service is concerned..
