your speed will be restored in next billing cycle. For eg in this month you crossed your FUP limlt then you will get downgraded speed for remaining billing cycle but when next month starts your speed will be restored

so that means 20GB will be on per month basis

I was on swift 1099+100Rs free double speed top up.So effectively i should get 1mbps with fup of 100gb.But on 2nd aug,my speed is 512kbps but i reached only 25gb.I guess time to move to reliance. My billing cycle starts from 5th of each month.

Past: My famous IT employer brought policies that s**kedPresent: AirTel brings FUPFuture: Afraid my wife, seeing all these, declares some stupid policy for me :'(LoL's.....I am getting chills these days whenever i spell "policy" anywhere!

i got this email today

At the onset we would like to thank you for your continued patronage towards Airtel Broadband.
With the ever changing world of internet, your requirements as a customer have also been changing. Recent studies done with our customers suggest most of the evolving activities like watching online videos, sending mail attachments, listening to songs, uploading & downloading pictures, movies, songs, etc are experienced much better at higher speed broadband connections. It is for this reason that we at Airtel have decided to upgrade your speed.
After consumption of 20 GBs the speed will go back to your original plan speed. To continue to be on high speed, please use "Speed on Demand". To know more, log on to Speed on Demand- Internet Speed on Demand: Airtel Broadband VAS.

i am on plan 384 kbps in day and 1 mbps in night ,now i am getting 512 kbps in day and 1 mbps in night so it means that double speed is applicable till 20 GB after that my speed will be 384 kbps in day and 1mbps in night right

Any of you guys noticed that Airtel is now hijacking your browsing session, randomly for last two days it takes me to http://122.160.230.125:8080/vta/redirectedPage.do this is very very annoying as whenever I am doing something important like a credit card transaction or submitted a long written article all get lost as the browser takes me to that page.

I am seriously considering a switch.
