Video buffering on a 1mbps connection?
Ya, there is some serious routing issue. Downloading and browsing is fine. Only video streaming is affected. Another thing that is affected is Facebook images. While downloading HQ photos off FB, I barely get 30-40 KBps speed.

do try with reliance's own DNS servers maybe you are being sent to slower servers (if you are using opendns or google public dns).
Ya, I tried Reliance DNS, OpenDNS and Google Public DNS. You're on airtel broadband right? Can you share airtel primary and secondary DNS IPs? I wanna try airtel DNS.

I just received a SMS from Airtel."Dear Customer, you have reached 80% of your FUP quota. When you cross 100%, your speed will be reduced as per your plan till your next bill cycle ." According to the website, I have used 17 GB, & the next billing cycle starts on the 25th of this month.....

Guys....don't waste no more money on these shit plans...i've wasted almost 5 months fighting with them to continue my 6+ yrs relationship...nothing happened..nearly Rs.2500 wasted in this period...think & act fast before you lose everything...

this FUP funda is out of my head why i will opt for 2mbps plan with 15-20 GB as fup but airtel seems to be quite satisfied by their plans and so most of its customers or they might not have good alternative
