:wall:

After reading each and every details of port forwarding in Beetel 220 BXI ADSL2 router from net still the port forwarding is not working in my case......

I have configured Apache Web Server on Port 8080 and i forwarded the same 8080 port on the ADSL2 router but still i m unable to get my index web page after i enter http://192.168.1.1:8080/ in my browser.....

I tried out other ports for forwarding but none of them worked.....

I am using Windows XP SP2 + Bitdefender Total Security 2008....

Can anybody help me out with this problem of mine??

:(

try opening port 80.. forward port 80 and let apache listen to port 80.. first lets see if you can get that to work.. then you can change it to 8080

oh mate!!!You seriously shouldnt have done that... Reset your modem now, and get back to default. You should find a small hole somewhere in the modem.Thats normally a reset hole..Insert a match stick or pin or something and hold it in there for like 20-30 seconds when the modem is on..and reset it.. and configure your modem again.. Then please try using apache server instead of IIS..cause the port scanner shows that your portforwarding is correct..

/members/scr3am3r/Did you get 220BX or 220BX1. Yes again 220BX1(one) Problem was DDNS settings. If not available, I dont think your web server problem will be solved.Dont try FW downgrade !

Oh man its working...... i just checked now its working......
i can access my website.....

This is possible only because of using WAN mini port or Bridged mode in Beeteal 220BX1 ADSL2+modem......

@member/sdhiraj/Call AirtelCC for replacement of modem ! act "dumb"! no tech talk. say you are unable to connect !can you open the Device status page ? what is the FW version now ?open diagnostics page and check what has failed. After FW update you have re do the settings.
