I had problems with double port forwarding.
I have Beetel 220 BX and Netgear - WGR614V7.
After searching the net on the problem, I found an excellent article which explained double port forwarding.
Here's the link - PortForward.com - Double Router Port Forwarding.

Now I don't have any problems on my desktop after following the above mentioned article.
Hope this helps.

Great article, very clear and easy to understand. Thanks!

Hey guys,Ever since the Airtel engineer came to my house and change the settings of my modem, I cannot port forward. I don't know what to do...So here is the deal;I connect the internet wire from the wall to my router (Netgear). Then from NETGEAR to my PC.The Airtel modem is upstairs which is where the connection comes from.I tried going to 192.168.1.1/main.html and then going to Virtual Servers and trying with server IP Address as 192.168.1.1 but it does not work.If I try going to NETGEAR Router settings and trying from there it does not work. What should I put as Server IP Address? My IPv4 Address or Default Gateway?ThanksCrazysah

What should I put as Server IP Address?
The IPv4 address assigned to the Netgear by the Airtel modem. Should be 192.168.1.2 by default. Then create a similar rule in the Netgear with ur machine's lan ip as server ip. This is assuming you connect the cable coming from the modem to the WAN port of the Netgear. If you connect the cable to one of the ethernet ports of the Netgear, then use ur machines lan ip.

I can access my modem at 192.168.1.1 and Netgear router at 192.168.1.2So In the beetel settings page, I put the address as 192.168.1.2? And then on the netgear router, I put the ip address as my ipv4 address?Or something else?ThanksCrazysah

I fixed it so never mind.

Dude .. how did you fix it .. Me facing same prb .. bitcomet says ports blocked :( .. was alright when i had only the modem .. now with the modem and w ireless router .. it doesn't works

You have to forward the the port you want to open on the beetel modem to the ip of the wireless router. Then go to the wireless router and forward the port to the ip of your computer.Try that. If it does not work then I will tell you the other method.
