I have Norton Antivirus 2006 and I disabled the auto protect but still the port dosen't get forwarded.[/b]

Is it Norton AV 2006 or Norton Internet Security 2006. I dont think Norton AV 2006 has a firewall. You can temporarily uninstall Norton and check whether ports are forwarded.

close the application and then try. if u are able to after that, find a better software.

There is no way to exit it. All it says is Disable Auto Protect.Well it dosen't exit. All it says is disable Auto Protect.Well it doesn't have the option to exit. All it has is too disable auto protect.

click on "Start" button, Go to "Run"...Type "MSconfig", Press enter.... Go to "StartUp", Disable all startup processes, Reboot Ur PC. Then autoprotect will not load at startup. there is no way to exit autoprotect even if u disable it, it will keep the ports blocked, on disabling, it will stop scanning internet connection only & will not release the ports
